KARACHI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has landed here on a day-long visit where began the trip by paying his respects to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah at his mausoleum. He is expected to meet the city’s leadership to discuss development-related projects for the financial hub of the country.
Mr Sharif was received at the airport by the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. According to the Marriyum Aurangzeb, the premier conducted a meeting on Karachi and the economy in the plane.

He is also expected to meet his main ally – the Muttahid Qaumi Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) at its headoffice in Bahadurabad to discuss issues pertaining to the development of the city.
