Stranded Pakistani students in Ukraine asked to reach Ternopil by FO

The stranded students in Ukraine have been asked by the Foreign Office on Friday to get to Ternopil quickly for evacuation. The Foreign Office has sprung into action after Russia unleashed attacks on Ukraine from three fronts.

Attacks on Kyiv have also compelled the Pakistani Embassy to move its offices to Ternopil for now. According to the FO spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, the embassy has started functioning from February 25. Sharing the contact details of the focal person, Ahmad urged the stranded Pakistani students to get in touch with him.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Embassy Ukraine tweeted out a statement in which it said that all Pakistanis were safe. The statement also added that the embassy was reaching out to them for their well-being and evacuation.

According to the Pakistan Embassy Ukraine, the students will be evacuated to Poland.
