Pakistan reports zero Covid-19 deaths first time nearly after two years

ISLAMABAD: According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Pakistan has reported zero deaths in the last 24 hours, marking the first time in two years. Across the country, 443 new patients were diagnosed while the positivity rate increased to 1.3 per cent.

Sindh continued to report the highest number of cases as 307 people tested positive from the province. Punjab reported 70, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 41 cases. Islamabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan collectively reported 25 coronavirus cases.

Till this date, 1,484,496 patients have recovered from Covid-19. Meanwhile, 8,033 patients are suffering from the virus, with 455 in critical condition.
