ISLAMABAD: During the last 24 hours, seven people died because of Covid-19 across Pakistan. On Wednesday, the National Institute of Health (NIH) shared the details of the latest situation of coronavirus in the country. The health authorities conducted 21,264 tests, of which, 592 people tested positive.
The positivity rate stood at 2.78 per cent. At the moment, 174 patients are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, China still suffers from the virus and imposed a mass lockdown across the country. Nationwide testing, prolonged quarantine and lockdowns have affected the Chinese economy. However, the authorities are not compromising on the zero-Covid policy.
