ISLAMABAD: According to the latest data issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Pakistan reported 653 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Health authorities tested 18,950 people, resulting in 653 new cases. The positivity rate stood at 3.45 per cent.
Currently, 162 patients are in critical condition. The stats from Covid watchdog reported that Karachi has shown progress as the positivity rate in the city dropped to 20.61 per cent. National Command & Control Centre has urged the public to strictly follow the Covid-related SOPs.
It has also requested people to stay indoors during the Eid holidays to ensure the safety of everyone.
