Pakistan reports 25 Covid related deaths during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s struggles against the fifth Covid-19 wave continue to grow as the country has recorded 25 coronavirus related deaths during the past 24 hours. According to the details shared by the National Command and Operation Centre, the number of confirmed positive cases has also risen by 45 per cent since yesterday.

Pakistan registered 7,539 positive cases on Wednesday, up from 5,196 on Tuesday. The test positivity ratio continues to remain over 10pc, with it being currently 11.9pc. Sindh recorded the most number of cases and deaths with 2,488 and 12 respectively.

According to the Ministry of National Health Services, Pakistan, the country has recorded 125 Covid deaths in the last 10 days. The number of active Covid-19 cases hovers around 91,854. The ministry has urged everyone to keep wearing masks.
