ISLAMABAD: According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Shaheen-1A, surface-to-surface ballistic missile, completed a successful flight test on Thursday, during which specific technical and design parameters of the system were evaluated.
Director-General of Strategic Plans Division Lt Gen Nadeem Zaki Manj, Chairman NESCOM Dr Raza Samar, and Army Strategic Forces’ Commander Lt Gen Mohammad Ali were present during the test, accompanied by the strategic organisations’ engineers and scientists.
Lt Gen Nadeem Zaki Manj applauded the efforts of the scientific team and acknowledged its contribution. President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, chairman joint chiefs of staff committee and services chiefs also praised the efforts of the scientific team and congratulated it on the accomplishment.
