Pakistan registers 7,000+ Covid cases for second consecutive day

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) shared the statistics of Sunday on Twitter in the early hours of Monday. According to the numbers, the country has registered more than 7,000 Covid cases for the second consecutive day.

Of the total 57,401 tests conducted, 7,195 came back positive. However, the number of deaths reported fell to eight, from 20.

The test positivity ratio currently stands at 12.53 per cent. According to the NCOC, 1,113 patients remain in critical care.
