KARACHI: Pakistani entertainment stars have made it to the top 50 Asian celebrities list, issued by British-based Asian newspaper, Eastern Eye.
The celebrities are ranked in the list according to the impact of their work and the positive influence it made on the viewers. The artists that made it to the list hail from literature, television, film, social media and music.
The list included international stars like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kumail Nanjiani, Riz Ahmed and the Pakistan entertainment industry’s celebrities Bilal Abbas, Hadiqa Kiani, Yumna Zaidi and Sajal Aly.
Sajal Aly was among the top 10 celebrities along with Pakistani based Hollywood stars Kumail Nanjiani and Riz Ahmed. Shreya Ghoshal, Priyanka Chopra, Mindy Kaling, South Indian movie star Prabhas, Yumna Zaidi, Hadiqa Kiani, and Atif Aslam were the other prominent Asian celebrities on the list.
