One dead, nine injured in Saddar explosion incident

KARACHI: On Thursday, nine people got injured and one died in an explosion here in Saddar Town. The blast occurred at Dr Daud Pota Road, damaging several vehicles as well.

According to media reports, the explosive substance was placed in the garbage, and a government vehicle was present in the vicinity. But some reports claim that explosive material was attached to a motorcycle.

Police said that two officers of the Pakistan Coast Guard were injured and their vehicle was also partially damaged.

Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, has asked for a report on the incident from Additional Inspector General (AIG) Karachi.
