Possibility of moving no-confidence motion against govt to be discussed by PDM

ISLAMABAD: A meeting has been called by the President Pakistan Democratic Movement Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, inviting all the party heads part of the PDM, to discuss the agenda of dismissing the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government. Moving a no-confidence motion against the government is likely to be discussed at the meeting.

Maulana made his intentions clear while talking to the reporters outside his residence after meeting the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday. Maulana did not mince his words and appealed to the allies of the government to join the Opposition “in the larger interests of the people”.

Meanwhile Shehbaz said that a decision regarding moving a no-confidence motion against the government would only be taken after thorough discussions. He, however, supported Maulana’s stance of dismissing the government straightaway, stating that the PTI-led government was the most incompetent and corrupt of all in the country’s 74-year history.
