Nimra Khan incident revealed as harassment, not abduction: Police

In the conclusion of the investigation into the alleged abduction of model and actress Nimra Khan in DHA Phase 8, Darakshan SDPO Manisha Rupita clarified on Sunday that the incident was a case of harassment, not kidnapping.

Rupita stated that the police investigation determined the accused was acting alone and was riding a motorcycle, contradicting initial reports that suggested an abduction. Following these early claims, the DIG and SSP of District South ordered a detailed investigation.

The inquiry, led by Darakshan DSP, confirmed that the incident involved harassment rather than an attempted kidnapping.

Given the recent uptick in harassment cases involving women, both leading to arrests, the police have mapped out the suspect’s route in the Nimra Khan case. Efforts to locate and apprehend the individual are ongoing, with an arrest anticipated soon.

Nimra Khan has expressed her satisfaction with the police’s efforts, commending their dedication to investigating the incident and gathering evidence.
