Amid the Ukraine-Russia crisis, Netflix has suspended future collaborations with Russia, according to Reuters. Earlier, Netflix had four projects scheduled in Russia.
Since its invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been boycotted by several entities in the entertainment industry. Cannes banned the Russian participation in its 2022 festival.
Sony Pictures and Warner Bros have also stopped the release of their movies in Russia as a humanitarian crisis response. WarnerMedia halted the release of ‘The Batman.’ Walt Disney also tweeted that it would not release its movies in Russia.
