When it came into the limelight after its foundation, the platform was said to be a potential competitor for Google. However, multiple challenges did not allow Neeva to grow.

According to its co-founders Ramaswamy & Vivek Raghunathan, the journey to building the platform had tough challenges. They added that in comparison to a resourceful team of Google, Neeva only had 50 workers. The duo said that building the search engine proved to be hard, and extracting regular users became harder.
