Nazim Jokhio’s widow forgives accused Jam Abdul Karim and Jam Awais

KARACHI: On Wednesday, Nazim Jokhio’s widow Shirin Jokhio pardoned the prime suspects in her husband’s murder – MNAs of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Jam Awais and Jam Abdul Karim.

The aggrieved widow released a video statement in which she forgave the accused due to the lack of support from her relatives. Shirin said that due to the responsibility of small children, she could not pursue the case further. She added that no compensation or offer was made to her for making the decision.

Meanwhile, the prime suspect in the Jokhio murder case, MNA Jam Abdul Karim returned to Pakistan at 5:00am from Dubai under high-level security. Sources claim that two prominent members of PPP received Karim. The MNA came back to the country to vote on the no-confidence motion.

Jokhio, a local journalist, was found dead at a farmhouse owned by Jam Abdul Karim last year. He was killed upon allegedly trying to stop the foreign hunters who wanted to hunt the houbara bustard (an endangered specie).
