Nawaz cannot travel to Pakistan due to medical condition, says report submitted to LHC

LAHORE: A medical report of the former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has been submitted to the Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Tuesday. The report has been authored by Dr Fayaz Shawal which states that Sharif cannot travel to Pakistan.

According to the report, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader cannot travel to Pakistan without definitive treatment and discouraged him from undergoing stress. It further said that until the coronary angiography,  Sharif should stay near medical centres where he’s been receiving the treatment and avoid crowded places to avoid the likelihood of contracting Covid-19.

It added that he should stay in London under multiple specialties and doctor’s care.

The report also said that a redo Coronary Artery Bypass Graft or complex coronary intervention may be required, The procedure has been on hold due to Covid-19.
