Ministry of Interior Affairs asks for life threat details from Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Interior Affairs has asked Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf to submit the details of the life threat. The ministry said it has directed security agencies to provide foolproof security to Imran Khan.

A spokesperson of the Ministry said that 94 police officers and Frontier Corps have been assigned duties around Khan’s residency.

Earlier on Saturday, Khan said that he had recorded a video statement which would be released if he were assassinated as a conspiracy to kill him had been hatched. He said that the video would reveal the people behind his murder.

In his statement, Khan pointed out that the people of Pakistan never got to know the names behind the assassinations of past victims. He added that people would know the names if he were murdered during the movement.
