Ministry of National Health Services to deliver crucial medical aid to war-hit Palestine

medical help to Palestine from Ministry of National Health Services

Pakistani authorities got approval from the Ministry of Health to dispatch vital medical aid for Palestinians – suffering from the barbaric attacks of Israel. The Ministry of National Health Services has arranged several essential items for war-affected people in Palestine, including life-saving medicines, surgery kits, and vital medicines.

According to details, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will receive the cargo of medical aid from the Ministry of Health. NDMA will transport the life-saving provisions to an international humanitarian aid organization called Red Cross International, which will be responsible for facilitating the seamless distribution of aid to Palestine.

In addition to the medical aid, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that a chartered aircraft will depart to Egypt from Islamabad with 100 tonnes of essential medical supplies, tents, and blankets. The announcement was made on Thursday at a weekly press briefing. The aid will travel to Gaza from Egypt.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch called for an immediate end to the inhumane blockade of Gaza and bombardment of innocent civilians. She showed disappointment over the results of the emergency meeting held by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Wednesday.

She stated that the results of the UNSC debate were disappointing as the Security Council should play its designated role in putting a stop to the bombardment and blockade that has caused the humanitarian catastrophe.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of National Health Services has not notified about sending a medical team from Pakistan to Palestinian territories.
