For the third consecutive day, Pakistan has reported below 1,000 coronavirus cases. During the past 24 hours, 861 people tested positive for Covid-19 while the positivity rate stood at 2.29 per cent.
Sindh once again reported the highest number of cases with 516, followed by Punjab with 174 and Islamabad reporting 68 Covid-19 positive patients. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir collectively reported 103 cases.
Meanwhile, 18 people passed away due to the virus, and 988 remain under critical care.
