Karachi sees light to moderate showers on Wednesday morning

KARACHI: The people of Karachi woke up to a rather pleasant morning on Wednesday with rain finally arriving in the metropolitan city after weeks of speculations and unbearable heat and humidity.

District East and Central received most of the rainfall, with Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karsaz, PECHS, and Federal B. Area reporting moderate showers.

Elated users took to Twitter to tweet about the rainy weather.

One user shared a clip of him driving in what he called “heavy rain”.

Another was quick to point out the poor infrastructure in a rather sarcastic tone.

One user uploaded the video of rain.
