Judge removes Zahir Jaffer from court for creating nuisance

Zahir Jaffer refuses attorney appointed by court

ISLAMABAD: The prime suspect in Noor Mukadam murder case, Zahir Jaffer, was removed from the court for creating nuisance and disrespecting the court by hurling abuses at the judge.

Jaffer kept on shouting ‘Hamza’ during the hearing and hid behind a door after he was ordered to be taken away.

He kept on disturbing the proceedings by passing remarks to the court. “I’m giving you guys an opportunity to hang me but still you guys are dragging it. This all is a puppet show. I have never seen more incompetent people in a room in my entire life,” he said.

The judge ordered the police to remove him from the proceedings during which he misbehaved with Inspector Mustafa Kiani.

Judge Rabbani has said that a contempt notice will not be issued to the suspect. However, they will conduct the trial in jail.
