Interior Minister Iran Dr Ahmed Vahidi and Iranian delegation visits Pakistan

On Monday, the Interior Minister for Iran Dr Ahmed Vahidi landed in Islamabad and was received by Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

Dr Ahmad has arrived with a nine-member delegation for a one-day visit. The Interior Ministry issued a statement, according to which, the Interior minister Iran will meet Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and other officials. The meeting will discuss the plans regarding the Pak-Iran border, along with the topic of prisoners exchange.

Both sides had met last year, where they had discussed the steps to tackle terrorism, efforts for a stable Afghanistan and implementation of the prisoners’ exchange agreement.
