ISLAMABAD: Pakistan continues to witness a positive trend in the Covid recoveries with positivity ratio dropping to 0.73 per cent, according to the National Command and Operation Centre in the last 24 hours. More than 30,000 more tests were conducted yesterday, of which 240 came back as positive. The number of critical cases dropped to 1,111, while six patients died due of the virus taking the total number of deaths in the country to 28,612.
The total number of confirmed cases across the country stands at 1,279,876. Sindh has 473,199 confirmed cases followed by Punjab with 441,903.
The federal capital has so far recorded 107,339 cases, while Balochistan had recorded 33,400 confirmed cases till today. Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have collectively reported 44,913 confirmed cases till date.
