Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan was disappointed with the verdict of the Supreme Court on suo motu case against Qaim Khan Suri’s ruling as deputy speaker against the infamous no-confidence motion. While addressing the public in the PP-28 constituency, Khan said that he had submitted the cipher to the federal cabinet. He added that it was hurtful that the supreme court did not order an investigation of the threat letter.
Khan said that the chief justice should have probed into the issue after President Arif Alvi discussed the matter with him. He added that the court took notice of Suri’s ruling and opened the courts at night, but when a prime minister was ousted through conspiracy no one took action.
The commission, responsible for investigating the conspiracy, was dispersed after the PTI government lost the no-confidence voting.
