LAHORE: The human remains of Priyantha Kumara have been repatriated to Sri Lanka from here to Colombo on Monday noon. Kumara was killed by a mob in Sialkot on Friday.
The Sri Lanka High Commission in Pakistan tweeted a picture on Monday announcing that his remains were transferred to Sri Lanka by Sri Lankan Airlines.
Earlier, the Punjab police had announced that it had arrested seven more people in connection with Kumara’s murder.
