In a shocking incident in Bahawalpur, a man named Sufian was brutally tortured by at least five individuals who accused him of stealing a donkey cart. The attack took place on Monday in village 13-Soling, under the jurisdiction of Baghdadul Jadid police station.

According to police reports, Sufian was subjected to horrific violence, resulting in the complete loss of vision in one eye and severe damage to the other. The perpetrators inflicted multiple injuries across his body, leaving scars as a testament to the brutal ordeal he endured.
Following directives from District Police Officer (DPO) Asad Sarfraz, law enforcement swiftly responded by sending a team to apprehend the suspects. Sufian was immediately transported to the emergency ward of Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital (BVH) for urgent medical care.
Underlying motive and arrests
Sources reveal that the underlying motive for this gruesome act was a land dispute. Police have managed to arrest one of the suspects, identified as Iqrar Hussain, while efforts to capture the remaining culprits are ongoing. The registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the other suspects was underway at the time of reporting.
