Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif lashed out at PTI chief Imran Khan on Tuesday during his address to National Assembly. He said that talks between the government and Imran Khan would be possible if the PTI chief apologises to the nation for all wrongdoings.
During the address, PM Shehbaz Sharif called Imran a fraud and said that government would not converse with someone who looted the state and attacked the judiciary. He further said that Imran has to make an apology for damaging the country and the judicial constitution.
Shehbaz said that it is impossible to hold a discussion with a person who consistently rejects invitations to discuss situations like COVID-19, terrorism in the country, the Kashmir conference or the apex committee meeting. The premier added that dialogue is the biggest weapon in a democracy.
The PML-N leader also criticised Imran for mocking the courts of Pakistan. Shehbaz said that Imran gets an extension from the courts and still mocks the judiciary. Regarding the IMF deal, PM Shehbaz Sharif claimed that Imran lodged hoax cases against the opposition signed the IMF agreement and later violated it.
