FC and Rangers’ officers salary raised by 15pc by PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan announced an appraisal in the salaries of the Frontier Corps (FC) and Rangers officers’ by 15 per cent on Tuesday. The announcement was made during the prime minister’s visit to the Naushki. He was accompanied by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

During a terrorist attack, four soldiers had embraced martyrdom in Naushki last week.

During the visit, the prime minister addressed a ceremony during which he paid tribute to soldiers. He said the army should know that the whole nation stands with them. He added that no forces could match the Pak Army’s calibre, and their performance against terrorism had been unmatchable.

He acknowledged the fact that inflation had been an issue in recent times, subsequently announcing an increase of 15pc in Rangers and FC’s salaries.

Mr Khan also briefed about the projects in the province and said that their government had done the most development work and invested funds. He talked about the construction of a highway which would connect Karachi and Quetta, calling it the biggest project for Balochistan.
