KARACHI: The dengue cases continued to escalate in Karachi as 247 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The Sindh Health Department stated that the total number of cases has surged to 2,193.
According to the reports, District East and South reported 45 patients each, and District Central had 48 cases. District West, Korangi, Malir, and Kemari collectively reported 71 cases.
So far in 2022, 10,673 dengue cases have been reported. The fatal disease has taken 43 lives out of which 39 were from Karachi.
