Covid positivity ratio drops to 0.64 per cent

ISLAMABAD: National Command and Operation Centre, in its latest tweet, has shared the Covid update. According to the stats, the test positivity ratio continues to decline as the rate has dropped to 0.64 per cent. In the last 24 hours, the authorities conducted 33,435 tests, of which, 216 came back as positive.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 68 cases, followed by Punjab with 62 cases, 51 cases were reported from Sindh, and 25 from the Federal capital. Balochistan recorded eight cases, while Azad Jammu & Kashmir reported only two cases.

In the last 24 hours, six patients lost their lives. Three patients died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two in Punjab, and one passed away in Sindh.

The number of the critical cases stand at 1101. This is the fourth consecutive day when less than 300 Covid cases have been reported from Pakistan.
