Covid-19 continues to weaken in Pakistan; positivity rate drops to 0.82 per cent

ISLAMABAD: According to the data by the National Command and Operation Centre, Pakistan reported 228 new Covid-19 cases during the last 24 hours. The positivity rate continued to decline and dropped to 0.82 per cent. Two patients lost their lives while 470 people are under critical care.

Sindh reported the highest number of cases with 97, followed by Punjab with 65 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 47. Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Balochistan collectively reported 19 cases.

Meanwhile, the total toll of recovered patients has reached 1,476,796, while there are 15,290 active cases across Pakistan.
