ISLAMABAD: According to the stats of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the positivity ratio of the coronavirus dropped to 1.01 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 38,524 patients were tested for the virus, of which, 391 cases tested positive. The number of critical cases stands at 1158 while nine people died due to disease in the last 24 hrs.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan has warned about the fifth wave and urged people to get vaccinated. He said that millions of people are at risk right now as they are not vaccinated, and therefore the vaccination target has to be met.
