Covid-19 cases decline in Pakistan; positivity rate stands at 1.37 per cent

ISLAMABAD: The declining trend in Covid-19 positive cases continues in Pakistan. In the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) tested 34,401 people, of which 473 tested positive for Covid-19. The positivity rate dropped further to 1.37 per cent.

Sindh reported the most cases with 255 coronavirus patients, followed by Punjab with 95 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 88 cases. Islamabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan collectively reported 35 cases.

The NCOC also reported that 1,471,288 patients have recovered from coronavirus so far in the country. Meanwhile, further four patients died of Covid during the last 24 hours, with 560 still remaining under critical care.
