CNG stations to remain closed in Sindh for next 72 hours

KARACHI: Amid the low gas pressure, the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) said all CNG stations across Sindh would remain closed for the next 72 hours. The closure will be effective from March 25-28. SSGC has also announced to shut gas supply for industrial units.

Petroleum Minister Hammad Azhar met the delegation of All Pakistan CNG Association and assured them to resolve supply issues. DG Staff Faridoon Sheikh, Additional Secretary Haroon Rafique, DG Gas Abdul Rashid, and Secretary Petroleum Ali Raza attended the meeting.

The government plans to provide CNG stations with a gas supply for three to fours days per week.
