PESHAWAR: The Insaf Food card scheme has been announced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the provincial Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. Families with incomes lower than Rs25,000 will benefit from the scheme. The deserving families will receive Rs21,000 every month under the scheme.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Bank of Khyber and the Food Department. Khan called the project a landmark achievement by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf. The scheme will be officially be operational by July 1.
