Bomb attack in Sariab Road Quetta; two Frontier Corps personnel injured

A bomb explosion at Sariab Road injured two personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) in Quetta on Monday. According to the FC spokesperson, the bomb was fitted in a motorcycle and exploded when the FC officials passed by the bike during a routine patrol.

After the blast, the security forces arrived, and the bomb disposal squad started the search operation. The whole premise was sealed immediately. The injured personnel were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. Since the start of the year, multiple terrorist attacks have been recorded in Balochistan.

Last week, the armed forces killed 13 terrorists while seven security officials embraced martyrdom during a terrorist attack in Panjgur and Naushki. Before that, two police officials and 15 people were injured in Dera Allahyar in a grenade attack.

Home Minister Balochistan Mir Zia Langove said that several threats had been issued from ‘nationalists’ and Daesh.
