Bollywood icon and King of disco music, Bappi Lahiri, passed away at the age of 69. The singer was going through some health problems and had earlier recovered from Covid-19.
Sources said that on Monday, after a one-month stay, Lahiri was discharged from the hospital. But the next day, he got severely ill and was rushed to CritiCare hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. As per the sources, the veteran singer died at midnight due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
Lahiri, popularly known as Bappi Da, was the mind behind several successful music pieces that became sensational hits. He delivered his best work for films like Disco Dancer, Sharaabi, and Chalte Chalte. Several celebrities extended their condolences over the demise of the music legend of India.
