QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has rejected the reports of his resignation from the post. He took to Twitter here on Saturday and said such “rumours may not spread”.
It was previously reported that Khan had travelled to Islamabad from the heart of Balochistan in a bid to discuss the next moves with the government officials amidst a no-confidence motion moved against him by the Opposition.
Meanwhile Khan claimed on Friday night that he had the votes of 80 per cent of the cabinet members in his favour. He has been under fire recently and there are reports that he has lost the confidence of his party members as well.
Khan in a series of tweets on Sunday said that he would request the Prime Minister Imran Khan to forbid ‘some of his federal members’ from fiddling with the internal affairs of Balochistan. He also said that the political movement would start a new era of politics in Balochistan.
