According to a press release shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday, three Pakistani players – Babar Azam, Abdullah Shafique, and Shaheen Afridi have climbed the latest updated ICC Test Rankings.
Among the list of batters, Babar has moved one place up and now sits at third. Babar is the only batter who is ranked in the Top 3 of all formats. Abdullah Shafique has jumped 23 places on the back of stellar performances against Australia and Sri Lanka, and is now ranked 16th in the ICC Test batting rankings.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s ace fast bowler Shaheen has jumped one spot and is now ranked at third.
