KARACHI: Australian batters made the life incredibly difficult for Pakistan bowlers who struggled throughout the day to take wickets. Usman Khawaja and Nathan Lyon added 53 runs more to the overnight tally before Lyon was clean bowled by Faheem Ashraf.
Khawaja too was bowled and left stunned by an off-break by Sajid Khan that held its line. The Australian middle order and the lower order stepped up big time with Alex Carey scoring 93. He got bowled to Babar Azam just few minutes before the end of Day’s play.
Australia are playing at 505/8 and are not looking to declare the innings anytime soon.
