QUETTA: In what has been a swift response, the law officials have arrested the killer of the slain journalist, Ather Mateen. The claims of arrest were made by the Balochistan government on Wednesday.
He was killed last Friday [Feb 18] when he was on his way to home after dropping off his kids at school. Speaking on behalf of the provincial government, the Balochistan’s Parliamentary Secretary Bushra Rind said that the arrest had been made thanks to the joint efforts of the Balochistan and Sindh police.
Rind briefed that the suspect had gone in hiding in Khuzdar after he killed Mateen last week in Karachi. She said that he was being transported to Karachi from Balochistan.
