Battagram: At least 08 citizens including children and their teachers got stranded after a cable wire of a chairlift snapped in Battagram. The helicopter of the Pakistan Army reached the location near Allai Jhangray Pashto to rescue the schoolchildren and teachers.

According to an aerial reconnaissance, the rescue operation was carried out in a careful and deliberate manner. The chairlift, carrying children and teachers, got stranded in midair. Commissioner Hazara, Sultan Aamir, contacted the KP govt and Pakistan Army to rescue the stranded chairlift.

The operation continued till 11:00 pm in which SSG Commandos and local experts took part. With careful execution, all stranded victims were rescued and provided with medical facility.
