After Imran Khan, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar faces no-confidence motion

LAHORE: On Monday, the opposition submitted a no-confidence motion in the Punjab Assembly secretariat against the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar.

Member Parliament (MPA) Samiullah Khan and Rana Mashood led the opposition and submitted the draft having signatures of over 120 MPAs. After the no-confidence motion has been filed, CM Buzdar cannot dissolve the assembly, and Speaker Pervez Elahi will have to call a session in 14 days.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has already offered the chief minister post to Pakistan Muslim League-Q if they supported the joint-opposition against the federal government at the no-confidence voting.
