ISLAMABAD: During the last 24 hours, Pakistan’s coronavirus infections remained under 1,000. According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 768 people tested positive of the total 35,281 tests conducted. The positivity rate stood at 2.17 per cent.
Sindh reported 293 positive cases, followed by Punjab with 254 cases and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 113 coronavirus cases. Islamabad had 54 cases, while Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan collectively reported 54 cases.
Meanwhile, 19 people died due to the virus and 908 patients remained under critical care.
