475 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Pakistan in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has shared the last 24 hours’ stats of Covid in Pakistan. The positivity was recorded at 1.1 per cent.

During the last 24 hours, the health authorities conducted 42,577 cases, of which 475 people tested positive.
The number of critical cases continues to decline as 905 patients are now in critical care, while 10 patients in the last 24 hours lost their lives to Covid.

Meanwhile, the Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel has said that the Moderna vaccine might not be effective against the new Omicron variant and it’d take time to ship the vaccine that could fight off the new variant.
