On Tuesday, Rana Sanaullah – Interior Minister, announced to not allow Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf to enter the federal capital today for the long march. He announced the decision during a press conference, stating that government could not allow Imran Khan to create disorder and chaos in Islamabad.
Sanaullah said that a constable died on Monday night and PTI had moved to bullets from abuses. On Monday night, Constable Kamal Ahmad was shot during a police raid in model town, Lahore. The incumbent government and PTI are shifting blames at each other for the incident.
Earlier, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the government would not compromise on the writ of the State. She said that people would be protected against those who wished to disseminate anarchy.
Marriyum shared the visuals of the 2014 protest by PTI, commenting that Imran promised a peaceful protest, and yet it turned out to be a violent event.
