Canadian Wildfire disrupts flight operations across US

The wildfire in Canada has disrupted flight operations in New York and Philadelphia. The smoke from the fire has caused visibility issues due to which flights are directed not to operate.

As the Canadian wildfire imposed an apocalyptic haze on New York, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released orders to slow down air traffic. Note that the upper Midwest and East Coast area from the New York side is declared clear for flights.

The decrease in visibility was also recorded at Philadelphia International Airport. Key airlines, including Delta and United, had to make changes to their schedules.

Wildfire in Canadian forests has caused a smoky haze across the United States and has raised health concerns across major cities.
