Weather in Pakistan: heavy rain across country till August 7

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in various districts of Pakistan till August 7 2023. While briefing on the weather in Pakistan, the PDMA said that monsoon rains will hit various districts of Punjab till August 7 2023 due to which there is a possibility of flooding in the canals of Sialkot, Narowal and Rawalpindi.

Similarly, cloudy weather is recorded in different areas of Lahore and strong winds have started blowing in the city. Last night (Wednesday 2 August 2023), there was heavy rain in many areas of Lahore, which made the weather pleasant.

The spokesperson of PDMA added that the situation of flooding in the rivers of Punjab remained the same. There is low-level flooding in the Sidhanai Canal near the Ravi River, the Sulaimanki Canal along the Sutlej and in some areas of Islamabad.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain in Karachi in the morning and night. According to the Meteorological Department update on the weather in Pakistan, the city’s climate will remain partly cloudy and humid on Tuesday. The current temperature of the city reached 31 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is expected to be 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
