US State Dept comes down hard on Imran’s allegations of conspiracy

The State Department Spokesperson Ned Price has reiterated that the United States had nothing to do with the former prime minister Imran Khan’s ouster, stating that the US valued its relationship with Pakistan.

When asked a question regarding Imran Khan running an anti-America campaign, Price was quick to react and said that the US would not let the lies get in the way of its relationship with Pakistan. He called the allegations made by Khan ‘propaganda, misinformation and disinformation’ before calling them ‘lies’.

Khan has accused the United States of ordering his removal, stating that the then opposition was acting on the orders of the US when it brought the vote of no-confidence against him.
