After Twitter, Meta Inc has also laid off a huge portion of its employees. The parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram has fired 11,000 employees globally.
Mark Zuckerberg said he takes responsibility for the decision and he can understand that it is a difficult time for everyone. The Head of the human resource department of Meta Inc, Laurie Gollier, said that as per the laws the laid-off employees would receive a four-month salary as compensation charges.
